Chariots of Fire (Friday 3pm-5 *
See the new stage version of Chariots of Fire at the Gielgud Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue (nearest Tube: Piccadilly Circus) on Friday afternoon (the performance starts at 3pm and finishes at about 5:30pm). A great way to get into the Olympic mood on the afternoon before the opening ceremony! Chariots of Fire is based on the true story of two British athletes who ran at the 8th Olympic Games in Paris in 1924 - it is a moving story, featuring memorable music by Vangelis.
I have two spare top-price tickets together in the 11th row of the stalls - K20 and K21 (normally £55 each, but bought through a special offer) - I am selling these for just £25 each. You can collect the ticket(s) from me in a cafe near the theatre at 2pm. Please send a text message to my phone 07984 257572 with the number of tickets you would like (one or two) - if the tickets are still available I will tell you where to meet me to collect them. I will be going to the show with a small group of people, but have the extra tickets because of a cancellation.
